A loss for us. 37 – 95. This green was outdoor carpet and not grass as we are used to playing on. However we did manage on the whole to keep them only scoring only one or two each end. We were not ending up in the ditch as much as we expected, which is a bonus. This type of green is very hard to adjust to when used to playing on grass. Despite the loss we had a great evening. The weather turned windy and very cold for the time of year but this did not spoil the fun. We played against very friendly, fun, generous hosts. We are looking forward to a return match at their ground in August. Hopefully we will have learnt a little from this game and will give Rhoose a better game.
