We had one rink where it was all ladies who are playing their first season.  These were led by Vanessa Wilby – skip and included, Justine Dyer, Clare Lewis and Ginette Wedge.  They all had some good shots but lacked consistency.  The opposition were extremely good and very helpful in offering advice and encouragement.  They learnt a lot but again found it difficult to adjust to a fast green.  A big loss but showed how even playing good shots we could not secure an end.  However, again we had very good hosts who were welcoming, friendly, supportive and helpful.  A good get together at the end of the match.
