What a way to end the season with a win at a home match against Roath Park.  We won 97 – 51 and won 3 rinks.  A great afternoon of bowls with such lovely opposition.  The weather was warm and sunny after a week of rain showers.  Everyone enjoyed the match and laughter and banter could be heard from all rinks.  It has been a mixed season with some wins but more losses.  To end the season like this is a great boost for all our players and we are all eagerly awaiting to see what comes next year.

Winning rinks:

John Courtney, Vanessa Wilby, Peter Esseen, Jeff Wenger

Ginette Wedge, Richard Brant, Justine Dyer, Dave Bradley

Gerry Field, Trevor Ford, Jacqui Kempa, Malcolm Thomas
