Big loss for us. 46 – 128. This was an artificial pitch and we just could not get used to the roll of the woods. As different to playing on grass as you can get. Weather was dry, cold, mostly sunny but strong winds blowing across the green. This resulted in changing the roll of the wood which was down to the surface. We just could not handle what the wind was doing to the woods, which you don’t get on grass and the run of the artificial green. Saying this though Rhoose were a great team and our players enjoyed the challenge as most had not played on this green before.

Rhoose players were extremely welcoming and laid on lovely sandwiches and drinks. Many thanks Rhoose and look forward to welcoming you to our green next.
