Lost 53 – 69 and won 2 rinks. What an absolutely fabulous game even though we lost. The weather was hit and miss with a couple of rain showers. This did affect the green as it is heavier when wet. It did start drying out later which meant that it again changed the way the green played.

There was great fun being had on all rinks. We were all taking the game seriously as wanted to win but still had great fun with the opposition. They were extremely friendly, fun and great banter back and forth. We were made very welcome which made the game even more enjoyable. The fun continued when we went into the clubhouse for a bite to eat and a drink together. Very much looking forward to playing them at home later in the season.
