What a fantastic game.  We played the best we have played.  We thought we were on for a win but was not quite there.  We only lost by 14 points – 78-92.  This was played over 21 ends.  We won 2 rinks and one of these was a good win 27 – 17.  This team was led by Barry Bagwell, skip and included Maurice Cox, Jacqui Kempa and Peter Esseen.  What an exciting game.  We were leading 11-5 up to end 10 then by end 13 it was 12 – 12.  We then rallied together and went onto win from there.  The team that we played on this rink had told us that they have not lost in quite some time. They were very gracious and told us how well we had played. The second rink that won by 1 point 19-18 was led by Trevor Ford, skip and included Tom Kaged, Richard Brant and David Bradley.  This was a very close fight. On end 20 it was 20-20.  They took this to the very last end for the win.  A brilliant day with some great, friendly opposition.  We all came away very positive as we were so close to the win we are craving for.
