It may be a loss but what a great game to be a part of.  The atmosphere was excellent, good fun and banter going back and forth all match.  We did win one rink which was led by Peter Esseen and included, Maurice Cox, Nicola Holder and Malcolm Thomas.  Caerphilly did say though on one of their rinks that it was an unfair match as they were playing 5 players to our 3.  That is because one of our players, I am not saying who but whose name begins with Jac…! had several times knocked their woods onto the jac or knocked the jac onto their wood.  Most definitely not intentional but was just one of those days.  It does have to be said though that she did score more points for her own team.  We had a fabulous welcome and a good get together at the end of the match for food and drink before coming back home.  Our last three matches will be home matches so we are hopeful that we can pull off another win before the end of the season.
