Played at Cadoxton. While this resulted in a loss it was a really good game with very friendly opposition.

There are still many new players where this is their first season and all are learning through every match. The experience they are gaining can only lead to them becoming even better bowlers. They are scoring at every match.

It is amazing how different an away green is to play compared to our own. This is the first away match for at least 4 members. Having to watch and learn how the green is running with the bowls and to adapt your play was very new to them. They all handled it well and our experienced bowlers were there to give a hand and very helpful advice while playing.

We ended up having a get together with the Cadoxton players where there were sandwiches and cakes laid on for us at the end. This was greatly appreciated as it was a friendly match and not a competition.
