What a fabulous day we all had welcoming so many parents, grandparents and children to our green. We had many activities on offer such as, target bowls, where families could compete against each other if they wanted, try out proper bowling, skittles, quotes, name the dragon, raffles to name a few. Everyone who came seemed to enjoy themselves. I know our members certainly enjoyed meeting you all and being with you. Many kept coming back two or three times. It was a great pleasure for us to welcome you all and we want to say a huge thank you for your support. This is extremely important to us at this time where we are fighting to keep our club open. Next year will see our 110th anniversary of when the first bowls match was played here. We are working hard to make sure we have many more years to come here. Your support is so valuable to us and we hope you had as much as fun as we did meeting you all.
